Injured bald eagle found in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla.- WINK News was there as Florida Fish and Wildlife officials took away an injured bald eagle.

The eagle was found near the train tracks at Palm Beach Boulevard and Van Buren Street.

People showed up to help the injured eagle after finding it dazed on the ground.

FWC is taking the eagle to the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) on Sanibel to have it checked out.
