Man pleads guilty to secretly recording 45 victims in FMB rental home

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A man admitted to hiding dozens of cameras inside a rental home on Fort Myers Beach, spying on 45 victims.

Robert Moore, 54, will spend four years in prison for his crimes.

Moore took a plea deal in court Monday. He plead guilty to eight counts of video voyeurism and one count of possessing child porn.

In court, Moore admitted to setting up hidden cameras inside a rental property last year. He was the caretaker of the home.

Investigators say he set up cameras on toilets, showers, and bedrooms. His victims were as young as 4 years old.

Moore collected more than 4,000 video clips of renters, hiding the cameras in things like alarm clocks.

Moore could have faced 50 years in prison, but his plea deal means he will only spend four years behind bars. He will also have to register as a sex offender.

Moore’s official sentencing date is March 26.
