Lockdown lifted at HealthPark Medical Center

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A lockdown at Health Park Medical Center has been lifted.

The hospital went on lockdown at around 8:30 p.m. after reports of an active shooter on the loose. At 9:15 p.m. a hospital spokesperson told  a WINK News crew on scene that the lockdown had been lifted, and they were no longer searching for a shooter.

WINK News confirmed it was a self-inflicted gunshot wound; the condition of that person was unknown at the time of publication.
