St. Patrick’s Day parade fills the streets of downtown Naples

NAPLES, Fla. -The 39th annual Naples St. Patrick’s Day Parade decorated the streets of Naples Saturday.

The event kicked off at 9:30 a.m. with a flag raising ceremony at Crayton Cove, then the parade started at 11:30 a.m.

The route started at Saint Ann’s Church in Old Naples and traveled down 3rd Street South to 5th Avenue, and then went down 8th Street South to end at Crayton Cove.

Sixteen high school marching bands, Irish dancers, bagpipe bands and dozens of other entertainers participated in the parade. This year’s parade also brought in roughly 200 vendors.
