NAPLES, Fla. – A man was arrested in Golden Gate after he led deputies on a chase.

Deputies and undercover cops swarmed a neighborhood off Sunshine Parkway around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities were searching for a man wearing shorts and no shirt who had taken them on a three mile high-speed chase after a routine traffic stop. Deputies followed the suspect to 49th street SW.

Deputies say they spotted the suspect, Kevin Isaacs, near 49th Street SW; they say he was soaking wet and looked like he had swam through a canal.

Officials chased him on foot as he jumped fences. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office had a helicopter searching by air and deployed K-9s. They were spanned out across the area searching for a man wearing shorts and no shirt.

They arrested Isaacs after they found him hiding in between homes.
