LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A school bus driver is facing charges after crashing into a stopped car. The accident happened Monday on Summerlin Road near Winkler Road just after 4 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol says Richard Allen Parson hit another vehicle from behind. There were 42 students from Lexington Middle School on board the bus. Authorities say no one was injured. The 51-year-old bus driver is being charged with careless driving.
