MARCO ISLAND, Fla.- The Marco Island Executive Airport reopened after authorities removed a small jet from the south end of the runway. None of the nine people on board were hurt when the plane went off the runway Sunday. Workers spent hours trying to lift the jet off the grass. Federal Aviation Administration investigators also arrived to look at the plane. The plane went off the runway Sunday afternoon, after flying from Marathon in the Florida Keys. The plane is registered to a corporation in Valparaiso, Indiana. It appears one of the co-owners of the jet is involved in the reality TV show Airplane Repo.
