Brush fire burns 15 acres in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A brush fire burned through 15 acres Wednesday, at one point burning near homes in Golden Gate Estates.

The fire started at a quarry near 9th Street Southwest.

Numerous trucks were on scene trying to control it. Crews told WINK News, the wind was a problem.

No word yet on what sparked the fire.
