FGCU men and women beat Kennesaw State to extend winning streaks

Despite making just 2 of 24 shots from three point range the FGCU men’s basketball team survived an upset scare against Kennesaw State with a 54-53 win. Brett Comer led the Eagles with 16 points as FGCU (20-7, 10-1) improved to 11-1 at home this season. The Eagles maintain a one game lead on North Florida in the Atlantic Sun Standings.

The 22nd ranked FGCU women controlled things from start to finish in a 71-60 win at Kennesaw State. The Eagles improve to 24-2 and 11-0 in the Atlantic Sun. The win clinches the conference championship for FGCU.
