Camouflaged suspect robs cellphone store

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – Police are asking for the public’s help to find a suspect who robbed a Metro PCS store two weeks ago.

According to detectives and witnesses, the suspect walked into the store located in the 4300 block of Lee Boulevard, just before 6 p.m. on January 29th.

Detectives said the suspect walked up to the registers, where several employees were standing and pulled out a gun, demanding cash. Employees handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and said the suspect then took off running.

The man was wearing a camouflaged jacket and hat at the time.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the Metro PCS robber is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
