Three stabbed in Collier County

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – Three people are in the hospital after being stabbed during a fight early Sunday morning, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

A spokeswoman tells WINK News one of the three people stabbed was flown in a medical helicopter to Lee Memorial Hospital in serious condition. The other two people stabbed were taken to NCH North. Their conditions were not immediately available.

There were three separate calls to 911 for help, the sheriff’s office says. Deputies believe it happened at The Tram on 10th Street Southeast, a place many people gather to ride ATV’s and camp.

One of the callers told 911 he was injured while trying to break up the fight, according to the sheriff’s office.

Detectives say they are still working to determine exactly what happened.
