Edison Ford Antique Car Show revs into Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla.- More than 150 antique cars and trucks will be on exhibit from classic car owners at the Annual Edison Ford Antique Car Show.

The show will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Edison Ford Antique Car Show is held riverside on the Ford lawn.

A 1923 Ford Model T was generously donated to Edison Ford by Michelle Day and will be on display. In 1980, the car was awarded a Senior National Award and then in 1990 a Grand National Award was given by the Antique Automobile Club of America.

In addition to the car show, “Henry and Clara Ford” will welcome visitors and lead “Inside the Ford Mangoes” home tour with curators at noon for a cost of $5 and the home tour is limited to 30 visitors.

There will be a “Car Talk” at 11 a.m. Live music will be performed by  The Flashback Duo with tunes from the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

Texas Tony will be providing barbecue, beer and wine for purchase.

Cost: Edison Ford Members FREE; non-members – Adults $20, Children (6-12) $11.
