Island Coast Football Coach Wayne Blair Resigns

WINK Sports has confirmed that Island Coast head football coach Wayne Blair has resigned. Blair says the two hour drives to his home in Plantation became too much. Blair lives with his fiancé in Plantation.

In his one season at Island Coast, Blair led the Gators to a 10-3 record and a district title.

Blair’s final day at Island Coast will be National Football Signing Day on February 4th. Cornerback Ryan Pulley has said he’ll sign with Arkansas while running back Van Edwards is planning to sign with Akron. Blair says he’s still calling college coaches to help some of his other players secure college scholarships.
