FORT MYERS, Fla.- Authorities have identified the victim in Monday’s shooting near Meadow Avenue and Linhart Avenue. 30-year-old Audin Bataille remains hospitalized at this time. Police received the call of a man shot around 2:19 p.m. Monday. Upon arriving, officers found Bataille suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital as a trauma alert. Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and processing the crime scene.
