CAPE CORAL, Fla. – South Fort Myers High School graduate, Sammy Watkins was in Cape Coral Sunday. The rookie Buffalo Bills wide receiver just finished his first year in the NFL. Watkins was at Sam’s Club in Cape Coral Sunday afternoon signing autographs. He said the last year was a balancing act, as he tried to get used to playing professional football and be a good dad to his seven-month-old daughter. He also said it was challenging getting used to the snow. “I’ve never actually been in a snow storm, so for me, it was all fun at first. Then it kind of got out of hand when we got seven feet of snow, I think, to where when I opened my door, all the snow came in the house. It got kind of dangerous at the end, but I enjoyed it Watkins also said he is looking forward to his new head coach, Rex Ryan. Ryan was the Jets coach last season.
