HAVANA, Cuba – WINK News reporter Chris Cifatte is in Havana during the diplomatic talks this week. This is the highest level of talks between the United States and Cuba in more than three decades. Their goal is to normalize ties by lifting travel restrictions and reopening embassies within the country. Cifatte reports that locals hope this really works out. Right now, there is no banking for Americans. Cifatte says that if you try to look up your banking information on an app, it’s completely blocked. WINK News is the only local news station in Havana. Stay with us as we get more details about the talks between the two countries.
