Naples Winter Wine Festival auction items are jaw-dropping

Published: Updated:

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- With just one day to go, WINK News is getting a sneak peek at the  items up for auction at this year’s Naples Winter Wine Festival. Trust us– they are extravagant!

WINK News went under the tent and uncovered, one item may break a Guinness World Record!

“I find it difficult to describe because it is unlike any auction I’ve been involved with,” said auctioneer, Humphrey Butner.

The Naples Winter Wine Festival has some of the most jaw dropping items up for auction.

“You can get on a jet and go anywhere in the world and stay at every luxury suite along the way,” said auctioneer, Lydia Fenet.

Everything under the tent falls into the category of extravagant. We’re talking cars, boats, trips, jewelry and, of course, wine.

“One great opportunity to visit one of the greatest burgundy growers in France.”

“I love the Kens Burns, Gettysburg lot, which is truly a once in a life time opportunity.”

One of the talkers up for bid, is one that could very well break a Guinness Book of World Record.

“Five rounds of golf, in 24 hours, which will allow you by the time change,” Butner told WINK News.

We’re told a group of ladies may have their eye on that prize.

“They spend astronomical amounts and they love it,” said Fenet.

“They’re here to do good, and that’s a great thing.”

All of the proceeds go to under privileged or at risk kids in Collier County. This prestigious event brings in millions of dollars.

“They have music, noise makers, everyone’s clapping and cheering.”

The auction is Saturday.
