FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla.- Lee County deputies tell WINK News, a driver suffered a medical emergency before speeding down Estero Boulevard and narrowly avoiding slamming into a taco stand. The crash sent many people running, but one man ran towards the chaos in the seconds after it.

It’s surveillance video many people are talking about. A car, plowing down Estero Boulevard going 60 miles per hour, before this dramatic crash.

“It looked really bad, but once I reached in to grab them out, I knew they were okay,” said Anthony Graham.

WINK News has new, exclusive video of people running to help rescue the elderly couple stuck inside the flipped over car. One of the people standing on top of the car is Lani Kai security guard Anthony Graham.

“Through the door, the passenger door, there was a gentleman in there, inside cutting the seat belts, so I was grabbing the people as he lifted them up to me.”

Graham says the couple was crying and screaming for help.

“When you land on your side, you got to call for help, you got to say something,” Graham told WINK News.

The car hit three other vehicles, sending five people to the hospital. It took down a concrete pole, a sign and came inches from crashing into Yo Taco. Many people say graham is one of the many heroes.

“I’m not a hero because I was just helping out. They needed help, so you help.”

The sheriff’s office tells WINK News everyone involved in the crash has been released from the hospital.
