Naples restaurant hosts ‘Queen vs. Teen Pasta-eating Contest’

NAPLES, Fla.- Noodles Italian Café and Sushi Bar will host the “Queen vs. Teen Pasta-eating Contest,” to help support the mission and goals of  Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR).

The event will take place on January 14, from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.

Cost is $25.00 per person at the door and includes an Italian food and sushi buffet from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. plus one free drink.

Representing the “Queen” is Michaela Poole, Mrs. American Beauty, 2014; and the “Teen,” Alex Berman, a cheerleader at Gulf Coast High School and daughter of Matt Berman, owner of Noodles Italian Café and Sushi Bar.

Matt Berman and his brother, Seth Berman, said that they have partnered with CCCR as a way for them to give back to the community. Berman added, “We believe that our community is just like family.  Whenever we can help, that’s what we do.  The community benefits from CCCR’s early learning programs and we want to help support those children and families who need it the most.”

Noodles is located at Mission Square Plaza at 1585 Pine Ridge Road.
