Immokalee hires More as head football coach

In a press release Immokalee High School announced the hiring of Dale More as its new head football coach. More was the Indians offensive coordinator this past season. He becomes the fourth Indians head coach in the last eight years.
2008-09: Israel Gallegos 7-13
2010-12: Jerrod Ackley 27-12
2013-14: Rich Dombroski 13-10

In the release More said, “My professional goal is to invest in and help sustain a solid football program that uses athletics to build character in young people, placing an emphasis on education, discipline, sportsmanship, and spiritual growth.”

More’s Coaching experience:
· Immokalee High School – Offensive coordinator 2014

· Cypress Lake High School – Head Coach 2012-13

· Niceville High School – Coach 2011-12

· Fort Walton Beach – Coach 2007-2011

· JM Tate High School – Coach 2006-2007

More was hired by a selection committee ahead of approximately 60 applicants according to the release. “The committee recognized the hard work, passion, dedication, and love of student athletes that Coach More emulates,” said Principal Ken Fairbanks. “I was looking for a coach who wants to strengthen an already established program so that when people think of Immokalee High football they think of athletic individuals with integrity, family, sportsmanship, loyalty, and a desire to make their school and community proud.”

Previous head coach Rich Dombroski stepped down in December after guiding Immokalee to a 4-7 record.
