NAPLES, Fla.- A traffic stop led to the arrest of two men for possessing counterfeit credit cards.

37-year-old Yoidel Igarza and 25-year-old Carlos Dominguez were stopped by police near the 1000 block of 9th Street around midnight Friday.

As the driver of the vehicle, Igarza consented to the officer’s request to search the car.

Authorities say 11 credit and debit cards wrapped in toilet paper were located in the center console. Four MasterCard gift cards were also found still in their packages.

There were no names and numbers on the front of the cards.

According to officials, the suspects gave conflicting information about the cards.

Both were placed under arrest for trafficking in counterfeit credit cards. Police say five additional cards were located on Igarza prior to entry into the jail.
