Motorcyclist killed in collision

FORT MYERS, Fla. – State troopers say a motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a truck overnight.

It happened around 12:30 a.m., near the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and US 41.

Troopers say the motorcyclist was trying to turn on Sunrise Boulevard when it ran into the truck, killing the driver.

Troopers say speed played a role in the crash.
