LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The victim of a Christmas Eve shooting was released from the hospital Friday.

21-year-old Jackinson Marcellus walked out of the hospital with family and friends, after he was shot in the face.

A bandage still covers the left side of his nose and mouth but he seemed to have no trouble speaking.

He is the brother of Jacky Marcellus, a football player for West Virginia.

Police say the two siblings and University of Florida football player JC Jackson were sitting in a car outside the Crestview Apartments in Immokalee Wednesday when one or two men started shooting at the vehicle.

Jackson and Jacky Marcellus walked away with minor injuries.

Authorities are searching for the suspect(s). If you have any information, call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 239-252-9300.
