COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- WINK News has learned the identity of the motorcyclist killed in an overnight accident. 71-year-old Albert O’Connell of Marco Island was killed. Police say the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday night along Collier Boulevard. O’Connell and a passenger were thrown off the bike when it crossed the median and hit the curb. Authorities say neither was wearing a helmet.
