FORT MYERS, Fla.- Most travelers have one goal right now and that’s to be with family for Christmas but weather across the country is hindering some flyer’s plans. WINK News has been monitoring arrivals and departures today and the delays are piling up. Officials tell us the good news is that no flights have been canceled. In fact, many of the flights are only delayed by two to 30 minutes. A few flights are delayed up to three hours. Officials tell WINK News there isn’t one specific area of the country that’s causing delays. Fog and snow is mainly to blame in parts of the northeast but officials say they’re also seeing delays in places like Charlotte, North Carolina. If you have a flight tonight or tomorrow make sure to check with your airline for any delays or possible cancellations.
