CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Power is being restored after an early morning car accident in Cape Coral. The power went out around 2am at Southeast 15th Place and Southeast 36th street, which is still closed. Cape Coral police tell WINK news two people were in the car and the driver was speeding down the alley, near Southeast 15th Place, when the car crashed into a power pole. LCEC says only the Casa Loma Motel is without power at this time. Trust WINK News for any updates we receive.
