MIAMI (AP) – Police say five people were injured in a drive-by shooting at a Miami apartment building. Police spokeswoman Frederica Burden says the victims were standing outside the building in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood Sunday evening when a person in a black SUV driving by began shooting at them. Burden says all five victims were taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition. The motive for the shooting is unknown. Investigators are looking for the SUV. Burden tells The Miami Herald (http://hrld.us/1w8cLd5 ) that police don’t have any witnesses to the shooting. She says police do consider the shooting “a drive-by because they did spot whoever they were trying to target, hit that person and then leave.”
