One person dead after overnight rollover crash

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – US 41, near Lely Resort, is back open after an overnight rollover crash that killed one person and put another in the hospital.

The accident happened just after midnight Friday at Collier Barefoot Williams Road, near Eagle Lakes Community Park.

Florida Highway Patrol says the driver who died is 28-year-old Casey Weeks of Naples.

Weeks was driving southbound on US 41 when he over-corrected, crossed over the median and rolled over.

FHP says Weeks’ passenger, 25-year-old Barry Few, also from Naples, suffered minor injuries.

Few was taken to Naples Community Hospital.
