Lee County deputies continue FMB death investigation

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla.- Lee County deputies are still working a death investigation on Fort Myers Beach. Investigators are focused in on the second floor of a duplex where a body was found Thursday. The duplex is located on the corner of Estero Boulevard and Bayland Road.

Details are still very limited as to what happened to the person found dead. Twenty-four hours later, deputies are still making their presence known outside of the house.

Friday, deputies dusted for fingerprints on the car in the driveway.

Officials have not confirmed if the death is suspicious or not and they have not released the identity of the victim.
