Residents still with nowhere to go after apartment fire in Collier CountyShalimar Beach Resort celebrates milestone groundbreaking on Sanibel Island
CLAY COUNTY, Fla.- A Florida couple claimed they owned a $1.1 million home but local authorities knew otherwise. Justin and Jenna Dean, both in their early 20s, were arrested and now face felony charges including grand theft. Sheriff’s deputies caught wind of the Deans’ squatting situation in September, after another couple lawfully purchased the home and found it already occupied. The Deans forged and filed a fake deed for the house. They changed the locks and claimed to own the property that had been foreclosed since 2011.
